CCCWGD Receives Global Leadership Recognition

We are deeply honored and grateful to receive the Certificate of Global Leadership Recognition, awarded in appreciation of our role as a collaborator and co-host of the Young Leaders for Arts and Health Bamenda Summit.

This recognition celebrates our contribution to a youth-led global initiative dedicated to promoting youth leadership and supporting youth mental health and well-being through arts, dialogue, and cross-sector collaboration. Being acknowledged for this work reaffirms our unwavering commitment to creating inclusive spaces where young people—especially women and girls with disabilities—can lead, innovate, and thrive.

Our collaboration during the summit stands as a powerful testament to the endless possibilities that emerge from cross-sectoral and cross-cultural partnerships. Together with inspiring partners and passionate young leaders, we worked toward a shared vision of empowerment, creativity, and holistic well-being for youth.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the organizers of the Young Leaders for Arts and Health Bamenda Summit, particularly Professor Jonathan Gray, Director of the Commonwealth Leadership Institute, and Dr. Kunle Adewale, Executive Director of Young Leaders for Arts and Health. Special thanks go to Lanjo Coaching and to every young person who contributed their voice, talent, and energy to making the summit a success. This recognition truly belongs to our entire community.

At the Community Creative Centre for Women and Girls with Disabilities (CCCWGD), we remain committed to advancing inclusive leadership, mental health awareness, and creative expression as powerful tools for positive social change.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for walking this journey with us.
