Health

Raising awareness on menstrual hygiene, contraception and maternal care to support healthy reproductive lives for women and girls with disabilities. Educating women and girls with disabilities on balanced diets and regular exercise, empowering them to build healthy lifestyles. Advocating for accessible healthcare services by removing barriers that prevent women and girls with disabilities from care.

Education

Ensuring inclusive education through scholarships, accessible learning materials, and tailored academic support that address the specific needs of women and girls with disabilities. Engaging education stakeholders to advance accessibility, inclusive teaching approaches, supportive learning environments, and fair assessment practices for women and girls with disabilities across communities!

Social Inclusion

Raising awareness to promote equal access to public spaces and social activities, strengthening inclusivity, dignity, meaningful social participation for women and girls with disabilities full. Facilitating opportunities for women and girls with disabilities to participate in sports, political, social, economic events, building strong social connections and encouraging active community involvement.

Gender Based Violence

Empowering women and girls to confidently denounce gender-based violence while educating families and communities on its causes, consequences, prevention strategies, and available legal protections. Identifying cases of abuse, referring survivors to appropriate support services, ensuring follow-up care, psychosocial assistance, and sustained protection.

Livelihood

Conducting needs assessments and delivering vocational training in agriculture, tailoring, IT, embroidery, gardening, fish farming, beadwork and crafts to build skills for women and girls with disabilities. Offering literacy workshops and access to startup capital, empowering women and girls with disabilities to create sustainable livelihoods long-term independence now.

Empowerment

Providing leadership training, mentorship opportunities, and structured peer support to empower women and girls with disabilities, strengthen confidence, enhance decision-making abilities, and promote self-advocacy, resilience, active participation in community leadership, civic engagement, organizational development, and inclusive governance processes at all levels.

Ngwan Hilda Nabila: A Beacon of Empowerment and Economic Resilience

Ngwan Hilda Nabila, an active member of the Community Creative Center for Women and Girls with Disabilities (CCCWGD), embodies the transformative power of skill-building and economic empowerment. Through CCCWGD’s training programs, she acquired expertise in bead production—a craft that has not only provided her with a sustainable livelihood but also enabled her to train and inspire other youths in her community.

Supporting Education for Children of Parents with Disabilities

At CCCWGD, we firmly believe that education is a fundamental right and a critical need for every child. In collaboration with the Hope4MyNeighbor Foundation, we are proud to have supported children of parents with disabilities by providing financial assistance, school supplies, and other essential materials for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The Importance of Ensuring the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Mobilization of relevant organizations for a town hall sensitization event organized by the Public Independent Conciliator office (PIC), aimed at raising awareness about the rights of persons with disabilities in participating in community development through municipal councils and in obtaining essential civil status documents such as birth and marriage certificates.

Catering for Livelihood

We equally actively support persons with disabilities by providing essential items such as cooking oil, laundry soap, and foodstuffs. These efforts are part of CCCWGD’s broader mission to improve living conditions and promote inclusive development for disadvantaged communities.
